Meet the Team
Andrew Jung Founder/LMFT #4911
I have been a LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) for the past 3 years with a Masters in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco. Over the past 20 years, I have worked with children and families in different roles. I have worked as the Director of Programs at social skills training programs, Behavioral Specialist at large summer camps, and I collaborate and consult with organizations for individuals on the autism spectrum.
The majority of my therapy work revolves around children who have trouble being successful; whether that is due to behavioral issues, communication problems, or neurodivergent difficulties. One of the core tenets of my work with children involves focusing on awareness. Is your child aware of how they are affecting those around them? Are they aware of how their actions have consequences? Are they aware of their own emotions and able to identify them?
My approach is simple: meet my clients where they are at with empathy and validation. I have a strong foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy while also implementing a humanistic and experiential approach to see the whole individual (or family). Through the fun of playing games, engaging in role-plays, or just talk therapy; I work with individuals, parents, and children on finding a solution to problems with communication, behavior, and resilience.
Literacy Coach
Sofia EspinoI’m Sofia Espino, a literacy coach and lead elementary educator supporting children across the early grades, including those with dyslexia and emerging reading challenges. Trained in Orton-Gillingham, I provide highly individualized, data-informed instruction that builds strong reading foundations while nurturing confidence and a genuine love of learning. Through my work as both a classroom teacher and literacy coach, I have supported students in making meaningful, measurable growth in decoding, fluency, and overall reading success .
This work is deeply personal to me. I was a struggling reader myself and now specialize in helping children feel capable and proud of their progress. I grew up in Los Angeles, attended college in Chicago, and look forward to returning to the Midwest. As a bilingual educator, I partner closely with families in both English and Spanish and offer in-person and virtual sessions tailored to each child’s needs.
